Scale and rotation#
SCALE#
SCALE START / SCALE END#
Profile scale at the beginning and end of the visible chain:
100%— original size;0%— the profile is collapsed;values above
100%enlarge the profile.
SCALE CURVE#
The Function Curve remaps the transition from Start to End. The horizontal axis is the position along the chain; the vertical axis is the interpolation factor.
SCALE DEFORM MODE#
- LOCAL
The Start → End transition is normalized over the currently visible chain. As Grow changes, the entire gradient remains stretched across the visible portion.
- GLOBAL
The transition is tied to overall growth progress. At partial Grow, the corresponding part of the full gradient is visible.
ROTATION#
ROTATION START / ROTATION END#
Profile rotation at the beginning and end of the chain. The interface accepts values far beyond one full turn, allowing multiple twists.
ROTATION CURVE#
Controls the nonlinear transition between the start and end angles.
ROTATION MODE#
- NORMAL
Rotates the finished rings around the path’s local axis. This is the compatible, visually predictable mode.
- MATRIX
Applies rotation directly to the profile-matrix basis. This is useful when rotation must follow the Sweep matrices’ orientation.
ROTATION DEFORM MODE#
LOCAL and GLOBAL work like the Scale modes: they either normalize rotation over the visible chain or tie it to overall Grow progress.
