Direction, UV, and Phong#

SEGMENT DIRECTION#

Automatically compares segment directions and reverses those that do not match the overall orientation.

UV#

UV MODE#

LOCAL and GLOBAL work like the Scale/Rotation modes: they either normalize UV values over the visible chain or tie them to overall Grow progress.

UV INVERT#

OFF: Preserves the calculated V direction.
ON: Inverts the calculated direction.
AUTO: Automatically inverts V when Trim becomes greater than Grow.

PHONG#

ANGLE LIMIT: Enables the smoothing angle limit.
PHONG ANGLE: The maximum smoothing angle. The default is 60°.
USE EDGE BREAKS: Allows the Phong tag to respect manually broken edges.
